Description
First produced in 1961 by Danish Designer Poul Volther, the
Corona chair was originally crafted from solid oak. After experimentation with various materials, the 'EJ 605' was released a year later, which closely resembled its predessor but was crafted of steel. A true original, the
Corona chair was completely unique in design, using (seemingly suspended) concentric shapes to make up its form, yet sacrificing nothing in the way of function and comfort.
Corona chair received a lot of acclaim when it was first launched in 1964. Since its making the chair has been shown in a wide variety of fashion features, film and music videos. Moulded chair with matt chromed spring steel legs. Upholstry available in variety of colours.
